Maury Show...

Happy One Week Anniversary to my Marty!

Yes, it has been one week already that I have been in a relationship. Marty is so wonderful and I think about him all the time.

Today was an exciting day. I got to spend the entire day with Marty on a school trip to the Maury Show in NYC. Going to NYC was quite an adventure for me. I saw the museums and the library as we drove by them. I also saw a "No Standing Anytime" sign on a corner and I asked Marty why people weren't allowed to stand on the corner. He thought I was joking until I said...I'm not joking, why can't people stand on the corner? So I've become a lil' Jessica Simpson lately.

Anyway, the Maury Show was a great experience. Carolyn and I were jumping up and down like we were going to be meeting the Backstreet Boys, but we're so wild about Maury. So we got into the studio and got our seats. The set really is smaller than what it looks like on TV, but still...so cool. Then the producer came out and said that Maury likes to dance with a few ladies when he comes out...so Carolyn and I made a mad dash for the stage. It was so funny. Carolyn and I were dancing around the stage with the other girls that came up. Then Maury came out and we were all dancing with him. It was so cool. Then we watched the taping of an episode with the topic: CHEATERS! Everyone was soooooooo happy to see that. So we watched that. During one of the commercial breaks, Maury was taking photos with people and I ran up and got to meet him, put my arm around him and get a picture with him. It was so amazing. He really is so cute in person. So after that experience we watched the rest of the taping, then we had a half hour lunch break. The staff of the Maury Show provided us with pizza. It wasn't bad.

Then when we got seated in new seats for the next taping which was: PATERNITY TESTS, they put music on in the studio while the staff sets up. So people started going up to the stage and dancing. Marty, my sleepy angel, dozed off while listening to his Linkin Park music. Then "Hey Ya" from Outkast came on and Marty sprang out of his seat and went on stage to dance. Then three girls from the other school ran up on stage and started groaping him and getting on him, but he was feeling uncomfortable. He kept looking at me and wouldn't touch any of them. Then one of the girls said to me, "Get up there and save your man". So I put down my camera and ran onto the stage to save him. I literally pushed the three girls away and started dancing with him. Then this kid Ryan from school ran up and danced with Marty. So a guy from the other school ran up and started dancing with me. It was beyond funny. I couldn't believe I did that.

Well, the PATERNITY TEST episode was intense. Lots of cussing, fists flying. Insane! But it was all good. I learned a lot. Hey, I am seriously thinking of doing an internship for the show. We'll see how that goes.

On the way back to the school, I fell asleep in Marty's arms. He fell asleep too. I feel so comfortable being with him because I know he really cares about me and I really care about him.

I spoke to him while he was going to physical therapy and he said he took out 3 books on Fibromyalgia so we can look through them. Isn't he just the best?!

Anyway, I better run. Today is a day I will never forget...because Marty and I got a unique experience for our one week anniversary.
