Let's get started...

As you all know from my last entry that Marty surprised me at job #1 on Friday. That was just...dare I think of words to describe?! *thinks* Well I am utterly just speechless.

Saturday I called him, e-mailed him, and IMed him concerning his last journal entry. I was talking to my sister just wondering where he was and when I looked up from the desk at my workplace of job #2, there he was with a smile on his face. I was helping someone at the desk when I saw him and I seriously was shocked. He thought I would expect him coming and honestly...I was speechless once more.

So afterwards he took me out for pizza. That was very very nice. Then we went back to my house and went on a walk with my sister. That was fun. :)

Okay...so let's fast-forward to today...

I went to the college and spent a few hours with Marty. Finally some time to just relax and enjoy each other's company. He played our song today and we just took it all in. How much I wanted to cry...but I am so unable to just express that in front of him. Damn me. Anyway...the time I spent with him today was most unforgettable...and I'll probably cry when I really think back on it.

So I studied for my mid-term that is tomorrow. $20 says I will forget EVERYTHING I read in the course of 3 hours. Anyway, I have a speech tomorrow and it's a demonstration speech. I chose to do the dance with the chair in the "As Long As You Love Me" Backstreet Boys video. It's one of my favorite dances...besides the one with the hat that I also still need to get down pat. I can certainly tell you that I am bruised right now from my legs smacking into/straddling the chair.

So you'd think that since I know this dance like the back of my hand that I'd be comfortable performing it in front of my class...WRONG! Readers, I am seriously more than nervous. I am practicing this dance extremely fatigued and in pain...but I want to be perfect...so practice, practice, practice.

Thank goodness for Backstreet Boys home videos. I pulled out "The Video Hits - Chapter One" and looked for the video for "As Long As You Love Me". Alright...before I go any further...I think it's a crime that the video for "Drowning" is not on this. Good song, good video...so why isn't it on there??

Back to the story...

So it's a good thing "As Long As You Love Me" was on the tape...and not so far from the beginning. I think it was the second video just after "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)". Now knowing Backstreet Boys fans...you are not going to skip past that video. I happened to fast-forward to the rain scene.

Throughout watching the rain scene, it brought back memories of being 13 or 14. The "exploring pop music" age. As you may remember, at that age...I liked Nick Carter cause we're only 4 years apart. I was watching the video and talking to my sister about me being 14. I said, "I remember when I liked Nick." She just looked at me. Then I saw Howie and said, "I remember when I used to hate him. I always screamed at the TV to keep his clothing on." She started laughing at me. I guess she actually remembers that.

Alright so temptation got the best of me. I saw Howie in the rain with no shirt. I almost died. That is why you watch "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" only once in a while. This was the first time since last year I watched it. Alright...so I miss Howie...but hey...Backstreet will be back with a new album and a year long tour. I know I am seriously going to that.

Anyway...I have a midterm first thing tomorrow...night night.
