Our First Movie Date...
May 16, 2004 at 10:02 A.M. Where do I even begin when I talk about yesterday? It all started with a phone call while I was at K-Mart with my mother. The sound of hokey-pokey playing in my purse and when I look at my phone screen it said "It's-A-Marty". My face instantly had a look of joy as I answered my phone. Marty had plans to come up and take me to see Mean Girls. My mother invited him to stay for dinner. Porkchops...I am beginning to notice a pattern...lol...Nah, mash potatoes...now that's good eating! After dinner we were off to the mall to see Mean Girls. Nah, not the cheerleaders that tortured me in high school. Not half the girls in Marty's school either. We planned to see the 7:00 showing, but there was only one ticket left, so we got tickets for the 8:20 showing. In the mean time, we went to different stores including the Lego Store, Hot Topic, Modell's, Disney Store, EB Games, K.B. Toys and Build-A-Bear. At Build-A-Bear all day yesterday, they had Operation Stuffed With Hugs. What it was is a program where you get to make a free teddy bear for children of parents in the armed forces. Oh it was such a wonderful idea, and that we had enough time, Marty and I both made one. I loved to see the look on Marty's face as he helped stuff the bear. I'm very happy he enjoyed it. Now him and I could go to Build-A-Bear together. After we made our bears, we went upstairs because it was movie time. Mean Girls was really good, but it seriously made me hate my sister and her friends a lot more. They are kind of like the Plastics, but not that much. We also saw previews for Spongebob Squarepants the movie!! Oh man, I want to see that. Plus, Dodgeball looked like it is going to be so funny. At least now I have a list of movies I want to see. During Mean Girls (and I hate to give any parts away) the kid Damien sang "Beautiful". That's OUR song! I was going to cry, because it was so unexpected and wonderful. Last night was very special because it was our very first movie date, but any date we go on is very special. I wish that there were more than 24 hours in a day because I would absolutely love to spend more time with him. I love to be able to keep him company and make him happy. Plus, I am just so happy to be with him and see him. He's everything to me. I remember when him and I were friends and I couldn't deny the fact that I liked him and I won't even try to deny it. All those wonderful memories of us even just as friends, I remember them all. And each day how I was more and more certain that I liked him. Uh, he makes me smile. He makes me happy. He makes me blush redder than a red shirt I could be wearing. When I look in his eyes, I am speechless. I just lose my words and can't speak. He's just so handsome and his smile makes me melt and get all giddy. And so I must leave now, but before I go, I would like to say that I will never forget last night. I miss you and you will be in my heart too.
